A vessel of volatile beauty, the Air Dragon emerges as a relic of frozen motion. It stands not merely as a container, but as a sculptural embodiment of the rugged Carpathian winds and the mythical creatures that haunt their peaks.
The Body: Earth and Ether
The foundation of the vase is a study in elemental grounding. The lower half is bathed in a pale, frosted mint, reminiscent of mountain mist settling in a valley. As the eye moves upward, this clarity gives way to a dark, obsidian-flecked amber. This transition evokes the raw, mineral-rich soil of the Hutsul highlands—textured, ancient, and enduring.
The Ornament: Crystalline Chaos
The "Air Dragon" reveals its spirit through a chaotic crown of fused glass shards. Like scales caught in the act of crystallization, these protrusions erupt from the vessel’s shoulder:
Prismatic Shards: Jagged nuggets of vibrant yellow, emerald green, and burnt orange are frozen in a state of mid-melt.
Graphic Filigree: Occasional ribbons of black and white wind through the glass, suggesting the intricate embroidery of a Hutsul garment or the veins of an exotic stone.
Structural Tension: The tactile contrast between the smooth, rounded belly and the aggressive, sharp architecture of the collar creates a sense of living energy.
