This vase, titled Hutsul, is a complex work of hand-blown glass that combines organic textures with a highly tactile, sculptural exterior. Its design appears to draw inspiration from the rich folk art traditions and rugged landscapes of the Hutsul region in the Carpathian Mountains.

Form and Color

The vessel features a rounded, bulbous body with a slightly tapered base. The color palette is earthy and atmospheric:

Base: A pale, translucent mint green with a soft, frosted finish.

Body: Transitions into a deep amber and mossy brown, featuring dark, irregular speckles that resemble stone or bird eggs.

Interior: A warm yellow-gold glow is visible through the mouth of the vase.

Texture and Ornamentation

The most striking feature of Hutsul is the dense cluster of glass "frit" or shards fused to its shoulders.

Applied Elements: These thick, rounded glass nuggets are applied in a variety of vibrant colors, including bright yellow, emerald green, orange, and white with black filigree.

Technique: The shards appear melted just enough to adhere to the surface while maintaining their individual, jewel-like shapes, creating a high-relief "crusted" effect.
