This vessel is a sculptural study in fluid motion and geological texture. It takes the form of a flower bud of deep cerulean glass, appearing as if a single drop of liquid has been flash-frozen as it hit a surface.
Form and Texture
The centerpiece is characterized by its maximalist surface, encrusted with a chaotic yet rhythmic collection of glass "shards" and organic inclusions.
The Crown: A pale, translucent collar rises from the peak, resembling a frosted tide or a sea-foam blossom. Its jagged, crown-like rim provides a delicate contrast to the heavy, grounded base.
The Inclusions: Suspended within and fused onto the blue body are obsidian-black droplets, streaks of amber, and opaque white fragments that mimic the appearance of seashells or weathered bone.
Light and Depth: The transparency of the blue glass creates an internal light-play, making the piece appear to glow from within when illuminated by the candle’s flame.
